SJP Interiors successfully completed a comprehensive office fitout for X+Why at Unity Place, Milton Keynes, transforming a large open-plan workspace into 10 smaller, commercially viable office suites.
Delivered within a live working environment, the project demanded careful coordination, considerate planning, and phased delivery to ensure minimal disruption to existing occupants and day-to-day operations. A key objective throughout the works was to create a seamless transformation, maintaining the integrity and aesthetic of the existing environment so the completed fitout felt as though it had always been part of the building.
The project involved extensive M&E adaptations and alterations, including close collaboration with the building management team and integration with the building’s BMS systems. Alongside the services modifications, SJP Interiors delivered new solid and glazed partitioning to create functional, high-quality office spaces while maximising light and openness throughout the floorplate.
Additional works included bespoke carpentry, flooring installation, decoration, and the supply and installation of blinds, all completed to a high standard to align with X+Why’s premium workspace offering. SJP Interiors also managed and coordinated all statutory requirements associated with the project, ensuring full compliance throughout delivery.
Through meticulous project management and attention to detail, SJP Interiors delivered a refined, flexible workspace solution that enhanced the commercial viability of the space while preserving the quality and character of Unity Place.
